Just can't take that stuff - EDIT

They put a screw into my ankle Tuesday in same day surgery. It hurts like heck today but I haven't taken any pills for it. I asked for 6 pain killer pills because I don;t like meds, but they sent me home with prescriptions for $45 worth of stuff, which I had filled, that's going to get thrown away. Some stuff to supposedly reduce nausea, Oxycodone (30) and Hydrocodone (50).

I took ONE Hydrocodone with Acetaminophen in yet yesterday. Still had dry mouth from anesthetic or something today, and I didn't want to add to it by taking more meds of any kind.

It's against my religion and the religion of natural healing to take pills. I'm going to take the pain and my Earthing sheet will eventually help me heal. I should feel better in a few days.

Ortho MD called and said I have soft bones but he got the screw in my ankle OK and said I should be OK as long as I don't get hit by any more cars.

They gave me a 1 gram dose of Antibiotics in my IV yesterday. He said it would help a lot to prevent infection.
They were going to give me a 2 gram dose, which is what they give to most people but I talked them into reducing it by half. I wasn't going to, but changed my mind.
