There was about 8 months between my first thyroid ultrasound (that showed no nodules) and my one last week (that showed multiple nodules).. Is it possible the nodules grew that quickly? Does anyone know how quickly they can grow? :(

I had low ferritin as well (down in the 30's which for a guy is VERY low), and saw a hemotologist who gave me iron IV infusions. Didn't need them, my iron was going back up by eating red meat and taking iron pills (SlowFE), but there were no side effects and it was inordinately faster. Each one raised my ferritin by 30 points. I highly recommend them, you can get one IV every few days.
