It appears there is a theory floating around here that taking HIGHER levels of Iodine can make detox effects LOWER, perhaps by forcing the toxins out of the body entirely rather than re-depositing them elsewhere.
I can't tolerate more than 2.5mg of Iodine several days in a row without strong detox effects (flu, dozens of body sores, angry mood, etc). 1/2 of an Iodoral tablet (6.5mgs) leaves me in bad shape 2 - 3 days later, with all of the above for days.
I was on fluoridated medications for 5 years, had very low dietary Iodine intake during the entire time and have spent 2.5 decades living in the middle of NYC, which isn't the cleanest cityin the world.
Would like to hear people's opinions on the theory above and if anyone has had success with it...
