tips for getting past the hump


Hey fasters,

I've noticed in my past Water Fasts that I usually sail through the first 4-5 days with little hunger and only slight weakness, than as day 6 and 7 approach I get mental (not physical cravings) for food and light headedness. I won't be able to stop thinking about it, smelling it, or looking at pictures of food on recipe pages! pathetic I know! but it seems that most people find days 1-3 to be the hardest but I'm contrary to this. It usually means that I stop only a week into my fasting. Any tips out there for how to conquer the mental battle?? It's amazing how much food and eating is tied up with boredom. I really want to make it to 21 days!!
