Desperate for HELP! for small cell lung cancer
Greetings, All! My mind is exhausted and spinning from data overload. Searching CureZone's extensive and informative forums for a regimen suitable for my husband is daunting. He was recently diagnosed with extensive stage, small cell lung cancer with metastases to the liver, this after 4 hospitalizations beginning with an ER/hospital admission 11/24/10 for what turned out to be dilutional hyponatremia, sodium of 106. I'm upset they didn't hunt aggressively for cancer since there's only a few diagnoses associated with SIADH - which was dx'd initially. Oncologist started DH on chemo right away, saying DH would need 4-6 chemo sessions. Chemo stopped at #4 as DH responded so well resulting in remission; this being about 6 weeks ago. Oncologist said if DH stayed in remission for at least 3 months this would be a good sign, hence, my desire to begin something ASAP.
Scans for cancer were done of DH's head recently which were negative. Oncologist wanted DH to start 'preventative' radiation of his head starting - last week! Seems like carpet-bombing DH's head without evidence cancer has metastasized there presents its own ramifications we aren't comfortable with so here I am, hoping for help and a regimen that's compatible with my husband's present condition.
I'm parked here on CureZone looking for ways to slay this dragon using nutritional changes/additions, herbs, ozone therapy, etc. DH's now open to trying other treatments. Both of us lean towards OZONE therapy (we'd need help with this, please!), but will consider other options, as well. I've recently turned to
Colloidal Silver and homeos for my own health problems, getting some good results.
I apologize for this long post. Think it might be information overload. I feel paralyzed to act out of fear I won't do the RIGHT things here, so I thank you all mightily for any help you can provide!

PS. If you can help, please take into consideration DH's present medications; Benicar 40 mg, Protonix 40 mg and Demeclocycline 300 mg twice daily for hyponatremia. DH's also taking multivitamins & minerals, fish oil, Vit. B-12, and Vit. D3 and some supplements recommended to us, such as Ionic Selenium, IP-6 and Inositol, Orac-Energy Greens.
I have protein whey on hold, as well as
Essiac Tea which I've heard doesn't help at this stage? There seems to be conflicting opinions on some remedies.
