colonoscopy 4 Pinworms, futile painful waste of time or not?

Please tell me?
does anyone know whether its worth having a colonoscopy.
I have had incurbale pinworms for months.. years who knows really... and after sharing with others here it might seem that they are impossible to cure..
So it there any point getting a medical investigation. I have read here that many specilists says that the colon is normal and the person feels even more frustarated.

My doctor was already insitnuating that it was pyschosomatic.
I have constant crawling in bottom but they do not move around on my pants? I see little flecks every morning. They were all the time but now they are much reduced. The doctor dismissed them as pinworms because she said 'she didnt see them moving' when I showed her my riddled underwear.

I have done alot to get healthy after so long of very poor health, including quiting drink smoking, (well I have fallen of the wagon three times in the last 6 months) had more amlagam removed recently, started walking, then running and then got back into the Kung fu I used to do years ago and Tai Chi too. I eat mostly raw food but thats tricky at times becasue my 4 year old doesn't quite share my passion YET!! I only cook nutritious food, very clean plant source diet. We eat some cheese and some eggs etc. But its annoying that I cant get these insect out my body. I have done a few cleanses. I did a couple of unitential gallbaldder cleanes becasue I took some very strong herbs and only ate and drank veg juice and small salads and I passed a lot of green yellow stones things... all night long. :(
So I just dont know, what good is getting the medical profession invlolved again.
I took mbendazole and pirprazine weekly for a bit which helped bit only after I had killed a lot of the worms with herbs and other stuff.
anyone else had colonoscopy?
Any use?
