Chaz, we already live in a global community. The very fact that I'm replying to you over the internet, and that we are both part of this online community called Curezone, even though we live several thousand kms away from each other, is an indication of the way the global community has grown and become a normality.

We already have world trade, countries are no longer limited to what they can manufacture or grow themselves. We have global travel, global communication, and global issues. So, world leaders talking about a global community is not a big deal, its already happening. I also don't see this as a bad thing in general, although there are issues with the power given to multinational corporations, and this is something that needs to be addressed IMO.
