Re:
I guess its how we interpret what we see and hear Chaz. I had a look at the quotes, but don't interpret the meaning as global leaders having a plan to have a global government. Many of the quotes were taken out of context, (it took a while to find most of the contexts the quotes were taken from), and while some of the quotes are from people I would consider "world leaders", many are not. So what you see and hear, is subject to your own belief system and filters, as is mine.
People in power today, both in the political and corporate areas, seem to me, to be just as self interested as they ever were, and I do not see any co-ordinated, and co-operative effort by any of them. What I see is them taking advantage of what people will allow, or are conned into allowing. A lust for power, greed and self interest, are the motivators here, not some ideal of global government. These people want the power, money and wealth for themselves, not for others, even others like themselves. It may appear that they are acting as a group, but if you dig a little deeper, this is not the case. At least this is what I have discovered in my researching.
I hope that explains my thinking for you :)
