People resisting an oppressive government, are not divided, they are united in their struggle against the government, we've seen this type of unity, no matter their own personal religious beliefs, in Egypt, Libya, Bahrain etc, only very recently. These people did not allow the government or the religious leaders, to sow division among the people.

Division and corruption amongst the people of a nation, whether these divisions are religious, political, racial, etc, is what will cause that country to fall. History bears this out.

This doesn't have anything to do with Americans as people, I don't believe Americans, or Australians for that matter, are any better or worse than any other people on this planet. Its about creating an environment where unity for the good of all the people, is encouraged. I sincerely hope the American people can manage this.

It is a tool of oppressive governments to encourage division among people, because it distracts them from what the government is doing. I hope people can see past this tool.
