Societies that are united are stronger, we only need to look at history to see this. Although history also tells us that this unity is not always for the good of the rest of the world, however strong it makes the united society.

Tolerance of the beliefs of others, IMO , is part of loving. We are all just human beings, and we all have faults. This is not to say we should tolerate criminal acts, but an individuals religious, or non religious beliefs, where they do not harm others, should be tolerated. I see people who are christians, muslims , buddhists, wiccans, atheists, etc, as humans that have differing beliefs, no one group, or individual is better or worse than any other, unless those groups or individuals set out to harm others.

Please do not think you have to make excuses for refreshed's behaviour, if that was what she was trying to say, then that is what she would have said. I do not believe that was her intention, as witnessed by her subsequent ranting post.

I appreciate that you think differently, but will have to disagree on that point.
