Re: I don't want to live for 2 weeks a month
I work full time although I have a lot of flexibility. All I can say is that a few days I ended up in bed because I felt so bad but overall, I think it helped me to get into a routine and to think about something else other than how I felt. I am extremely busy during the first quarter of the year with my job and I look back and can't believe that I hit all of my deadlines with the way I felt.
I am four months post removal and feel better with each month. I heard someone comment that the symptoms fade away. I think that is a good word, you don't wake up one day and feel 100 %. It just gradually goes away albiet different speeds for different people.
I had great success with acupuncture. I go to a clinic that has group sessions and only charge $ 30. I figured it was worth a try and it has really been amazing.
I am going to see my family doctor tomorrow for a cyst on my hand (never had a cyst before and wonder if it has something to do with Mirena). I am looking forward to updating her with what has happened. My gyno tried to dump me on her when he didn't know what to do and I was pushing him for an answer. They are all in the same group so her reaction will be interesting.
Have a great evening, things will get better !
