if you haven't seen this yet or read brownsteins book I would highly recommend that you do either or both.
Brownstein isn't God or anything, but he has worked with tons of people and he first started working with SSKI only and he stopped after awhile because he just didn't get very good results.

Once he started using Iodoral (Iodine/Iodide together)everything changed, way better results. He is quite emphatic about this in this video.

We can ponder and hypothesize why, but in my book a guy with as much experience as Brownstein in his busy private practice deserves a ton of respect and attention.

I am not saying you won't get great results with just SSKI , I am just advocating you to educate yourself and make an informed decision.
