Re: will there ever be a cure ?

More doctors need to call a spade a spade and admit this is Chronic Mucocutaneous Candidiasis and there is no known cure yet. Its like having tuberculosis 100 years ago. There was no cure no matter how much money you had, how smart you were or how good your doctor was...no cure regardless.

The problem I have with doctors like Crook, Truss, & others who have written books, is they do not explicitly say the disease is usually incurable. Very misleading. The truth needs to be told however unpleasant it is to hear.

But TB is actually curable today though. If enough resources were focused on finding a cure, I think a cure would be possible - or if not a cure, at least a combo of meds that you take for life and feel good while you are on them (like what is available for HIV/AIDS). Right now we don't even have that.
