I don't agree that all of these people are in it for the money. I mean afterall you SHOULD get paid for a service. If your a psychiatrist and your counseling someone you get paid for your time, your a doctor and you see patients- you get paid for your time. Someone selling a product- they get paid for that product.
The question is- will this help me? is this of value to me?
There are many things in nature that help
and many things Rx wise that help
who knows if there ever is a cure for anything- but with maintenance I believe you can overcome symptoms/illness and keep things in check. Does that mean ultimate cure- maybe? and maybe not.
The goal is to try and be positive- proactive with your health and seek out medical attention.
for instance- I have a story- many years ago i developed a chronic case of group b strep over growth. Anti biotics simply only got rid of it temporarily. But after discovering the pro-biotic Fem-Dophilus, oddly my group BH STREP completely went away... am I cured??? Who Knows- as of right now YES... could it come back? I pray NO- its ten million times more painful than a yeast infection- it literally felt as if someone was stabbing my vagina.
and BACTERIAL infections just like CANDIDA can be very hard to treat and get rid of. The key is finding out what works for you, and how to manage it.
Negativity is toxic and will only harm you if you doubt everything.
so first off
see a physician
if you dont like them, see another..keep searching til you find someone who works for you and with you.
One thing i will say I like so far about jeff mccombs is he takes his own time to answer questions. While he may be anti...antifungals (lol) he does know his stuff... but does his plan work for everyone- NO
some of us need antifungals, the key is- which work best for you??
In my case- we cant identify what i have- i wont allow a biopsy on my vulva..i dont want more irritation than that has already been there
all we know is my cultures are all NEGATIVE
but this new doctor i found is sure i probably have it in a small area in the skin, and it needs to be treated with a borad spectrum anti fungal.. (hes into natural medicine too) and... he also told me i can use the mccombs plan while on the Rx. Im trying to ask mccombs his opinion as he does have a protocol if you need an
Antibiotic and use his plan at the same time.
but if your suffering- you need to seek help of a physician- period
and try to work with your doctor on how to help you
it would also be IDEAL if people here at curezone would be more helpful at answering questions.
as it seems some people tend to just give their opinion or just not answer questions
some of us NEWBIES to these fungal issues need some guidance. As my expertice is more with group B strep vaginitis and how i over came that
but NOT with fungal infections- its scary- im learning
but more help would be of great benefit.
BTW experts like Crandall are GREAT- know their stuff
but they are also ONE SIDED with more EXTREME approaches. everyone is different, every body is different... so we cant all use an oral anti fungal, topical anti fungal, and cortisones at the same time (as she suggested for me to do)
some of us are more sensitive and need to try a systemic approach with some more natural methods and leave well enough alone vaginally and not alter the pH to set up an imbalance that can create something like bacterial vaginosis....
too much of anything (good or bad) is NOT a good thing!
sorry for my rant- but i had to state that as i have noticed some negativity out there and this board should be helping people- not spreading negativity
