Spiritual to me means close to God. The closer a person is to God, the more spiritual he/she is. That's one of the reasons I like to fast. This world has nothing in comparison to offer. In other words, being close to God is the most important thing in life for me. What could be better? I have found nothing better. Fasting does bring me closer to God if I do it along with seeking Him and with prayer.
