To understand the healing powers of black seeds you would first have to understand that it is a gift from Allah. So first we thank Allah for his mercy and second follow the ways of Prophet Mohammad who told of this gift.

Prophet Mohammad used the honey and black seeds together. The black seeds are bitter and need to be heated first to remove the tart taste. As you have stated you prefer not to heat the seeds and your choice.

To enjoy the full benefit of the seeds, they should be taken as we were guided as Prophet Mohammad knew the best to reap its best benefits.
