Any Ideas On How To Cure or Treat Autoimmune Disease?

If there is speculation or evidence that viruses cause autoimmune diseases then is it possible to get rid of these viruses?
It would be tricky right(?) because stimulating the immune system makes the autoimmune condition worse?

I've been trying to self diagnose myself because doctor visits are pretty much worthless in my case. I live in a rural area and the medical care here is pretty bad.

I have all the symptoms of hypothyroid. My TSH was .88 and the nurse practitioner refused to do anymore tests other than the basic. She did say she checked me for lupus and that was negative. My vitamin D level was very low. Other than that she was not very much help.

I have progressively gotten worse. I cannot tolerate hardly any supplements at all anymore. Herbs that use to do wonders for me now make me much, much worse.

I now have a choking feeling in my throat. Fatigue,brain fog, trembling, weakness, aches and pains that are quite bad. Blurry vision, feel cold, hair loss, thin nails that seem thinner by the day!
Very little seems to help me feel better.
I did have some Thytrophin PMG and trying that... it is one thing that seems to help me the most significantly.
That and taking fish oil and borage oil to help keep the inflammation down.

To me it seems like I must have Hashimoto's Disease.

I did read a reviewer for a book on Hashimotos say that taking Miracle-Mineral-Supplement would cure it. I've been feeling so bad though the last thing I want to do is make it worse.
Even taking a simple Vit C or a multi vitamin makes me worse. Tweet
