You're right but since then I've changed it again lol.  I've always used 1/2 gallon jars to tincture, the first time I tinctured Echinacea I used 1-1/4 cup of each Echinacea and that was too much so I went down to 3/4 cup of each.  The batch with the 1-1/4 cup of each was so much stronger than the one with 3/4 cup.  I decided on 1 cup of each in the 1/2 gallon jars.  That's where I'm gonna stay lol, for me that's the best formula.   

I've been missing you on the forum niteblume ;) how are you doing?
