Re: Just a guess from experience...EDITED
Excellent plan!!! Many thanks, Meg.
There are years of experience and study in this plan.
May I add a thought, or two?
I am thoroughly satisfied with Himalayan Crystal Mineral Salts for balancing one's mineral content, through foot or hand baths.
Since a 1% solution (1 cup of sole [pronounced so-lay] plus 26 cups of warm water), for a 20 - 30 minute soak, renews balance every time it is used, it would seem that a person could use it as often as desired without harm. Make fresh every time. Replace the water in the sole jug with fresh, as long as the crystals last in the bottom of the jug.
(Sole is a handful of Himalayan Crystal Mineral Salts in a jug of water, overnight, and you see there are still salt crystals in the bottom of the jug...the water has reached the saturation point with the salts...a 26% solution.)
The percentage of sole to water is important because the body is constantly trying to balance the content of minerals in the cells (perfect), and around the cells, and in the blood...by osmosis...thus drawing in or out any excesses, or shortages, through the skin.
This process is going on all the time, anyway...through moisture in the environment. Why not take advantage of it, as we would an ocean swim, or a dip in the creek?
Himalayan Crystal Mineral Salts are the residue of the drying of an area of ocean water that dried up 250,000,000 years ago...long before man invented pollution. It contains all possible elements necessary for life. Our marvelous bodies know what to do with each of them.
I get my HCM salts from my local health food store. They come through the distributor,
http://www.heartfeltliving.com
I have spoken to the distributor, Rose, once, and she seems a very nice person.
She, herself, takes one teaspoon of sole in a glass of water every morning.
The first time I tried this footbath it had been recommended to me for 'grounding' because I was terrified of dying. It worked, instantly. I even forgot my terror until I was walking downstairs the next morning...when I realized how well I now felt.
The footbath had also given me a fine sleep.
I would also like to second the praise for meditation.
Simply listen to your breathing while relaxing...kind of like enfolding yourself for rest.
People use only the top 1/5 of their lungs, usually, I am told. I like to gently exhale fully, when I think of it...then gently inhale through my nose. If you can get out among trees, it does you much good.
Do you have dental work in your mouth?
If so, get yourself a real holistic dentist, and pay any price he cares to extract to return your mouth to the most pristine state he can manage.
Here's my observation on the main difference between my husband, 86, and myself, 73; he had all his teeth out more than forty years ago...I didn't. He is as healthy as a horse. I am not.
I am looking seriously at activated charcoal and/or
Bentonite poultices on several points of my body. Ask the help of anyone who understands chelation.
...And I'm pretty sure that simply making a statement that you are well and strong, works.
Have faith in your beautiful body, my young friend. I do.

- about the salt.
Oh, yes...I recently stopped adding any extra salt to my food. It is easy to get used to it...much easier than cutting out bread! But I'll get used to no bread or flour, too.
:D
Fledgling
P.S. My most recent accomplishment is the realization that fear leads to anger and frustration, which gets you more of the thing you are focussing on...and then, when you stop focussing on it, perhaps when you just forget to be fearful, it becomes a joy to realize the bad thing isn't happening now, at this exact moment, and you can be happy.
Simply applying the energy of a single momentary thought, or the slant of a long-held opinion or belief. adds momentum to the subject.
A new/fresh thought or feeling cancels the old one instantly...or use the word 'cancel'...or 'no'. I like 'applesauce'.
