Re: Naturopathy
I agree with you - I'm also in the northeast and trying to find someone with the kind of background you want might be difficult. There's numerous apporaches to health and frankly I'm not focused on one practice but am open to what makes sense and treats me as an individual.
To make matters worse, I have to pay out of the pocket because I cannot find anyone with alternative medicine background under my insurance so I'm carrying health insurance for nothing basically. I can't get myself to an MD because theyll try to drug me and any tests I want to have done they shoot me down with random excuse (I'm like you too I don't care for my MD advice just use him for testing so I dont have to pay out of pocket). I don't need that extra stress in my life.
Wouldn't it make sense to have an insurance company offering health insurance specifically for alternative medicine? They won't have to pay exurbitant drug costs plus people won't have to go back and forth to be treated for symptoms. But then the pharmaceutical companies and MDs will have to invest on attacking alternative medicine by launching bogus biased and narrow minded clinical tests.
(the majority of people blindly like the fact that pharmaceutical companies have the "hard data" from studies and that alternative medicine is only based on "random yet consistent testimonials")
