O/T ....Mercury Poisoning

Hi fellow iodiners!

I have been offline a lot for the past few weeks dealing with a serious issue with my husband.

In the beginning of March, he woke up with a bad toothache. I finally got him to go to the dentist who wanted the tooth extracted. He not only allowed them to extract the tooth bothering him, but while they were in there they told him another tooth should come out and he agreed. He told me that during the procedure, the tooth kept breaking apart into pieces. They had to give him a few Xrays to make sure no broken pieces were stuck.

Needless to say, my husband has since gone mad. I am dead serious here. He has slipped into a Depression and had a nervous breakdown? This is SO not like him. He has never been depressed or anxious and I have lost 10 pounds over this as he doesnt think anything is wrong. His mental state is not right but he won't let me take him to the doctor.

My think is if I take him to the doctor, they will put him on anti depressants and such and recommend therapy. I am 100% sure this is all due to the extraction. I asked if there was mercury in those teeth and he told me yes. I feel like I live with the mad hatter and I am so stressed.
Anyone ever heard of this or know what I can do? The dentist was of no help when I called. They said there was not connection.

....thanks....Kristen
