Re: Amalgam removal formula and trained dentists
As I was looking through Douglas Labs' products for something else, I ran across this product: Mercury
Amalgam Formula, a supplement meant to be taken during
Amalgam removal.

I can't speak for the effectiveness of this product, but I have used one of their multis for twenty years. I consider them a high qualtity product line. Their products are sometimes not easy to find, especially their more specialized ones. I think they mostly sell through docs. However, there are online companies carrying at least some of their products.
Alternately, just looking at the composition of this product for the suggestion of supps you might want to take while getting
Amalgams removed is instructive.
My dentist not only took precautions to protect me during the removal process, but did so for himself and his assistant. Both wore special masks and he used special suctioning equipment to trap any airborn matter.
Here's the website of the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology, an anti-fluoride, anti-amalgam, safe
Amalgam removal advocate group:

They can be used to help find a dentist trained in the methods they advocate; they have some international chapters.
