You might want to have your circulation checked. Have you ever had a history of clots? If you are having pain in your carotid artery, you should have your circulation checked and be checked possibly for clots. My husband had a clot in his calf a short while ago and his leg was extremely painful. That is only how we knew. He got it after having surgery on his ankle.
