Stop w/ this notion of "normal."

Well, at least we're allies when people write posts recommending honey.

Jorge, I was compiling a list of people who no longer suffer from candida but then I realized, for every single post I could show, you would either say A)"That person didn't have as severe a case as me," or B)"I tried that but it didn't work for me."

So it's pointless. But the moral of the story is that people can and do conquer their candida problems all the time. But everybody's method is unique, b/c there are so many variables involved, as well as unknowns, and b/c it takes such a long time. Let me repeat that: people can and do all the time find their own path to getting a handle on their candidiasis. To the point where it doesn't occupy their thoughts any more than an old knee injury from high school football. But to ask the question, Why isn't there a universally successful protocol, one that works for everybody? There just isn't. It's an unchangeable fact. Why dwell on it? Why bash the medical community as a whole? etc. What many of us regulars are rooting for, on your behalf, is that you stop being the guy on the street corner hoping, as car after car drives by, that one of them is going his way. This is impossible, your way will be totally unique to you, and only you can walk it. If you have to, knock someone over and take their bike. Get tenacious, as was said earlier.

The answer to the question, "Why isn't there a surefire remedy?" is way less important than the fact that there just isn't. This a reason to be MORE disciplined with the diet, etc, not LESS disciplined--to improve your chances of getting control and to smoke out the answer.

When you go reading medical papers, don't seek to confirm your worst fears.

The other poster is right: the mind leads and the body follows. Every thought you have is an electrical and chemical reality, which changes the chemistry of your body. If I continually think to myself, "I'm screwed. I'm going to get cancer." Guess what - I will make it happen.

Some things are in the eye of the beholder. When Remi said the more she stays on her diet, the more frequently she is able to cheat and eat sweet stuff, I thought to myself, "YES. That's what I'm hoping is true." Why did that not give you hope??
