Demodex and Moles Linked?
I have been dealing with something a little strange, and was wondering if anyone else had this happen...
I've almost completely eliminated the Demodex on my face, if not eliminated them altogether. My face is now pretty much clear aside from a few lingering
Acne spots on my jawline. Something strange is also happening, however.
I have some moles on my face, and a few of them had major pimples/eruptions under them as I was killing the demodex. I'm assuming that the mites stayed under the moles because it was darker under them? (May sound funny, but it's the only thing I can come up with since I know the buggers hate light.) Well, now many of my moles are falling off (most of them are not raised, they're flat). They are scabbing over and disappearing. Is it possible that the demodex caused my body to make moles? I've had moles for most of my life, all over my body, and have always struggled a bit with acne, on-and-off since adolescence.
For reference, I have used the following to kill the mites:
Cold Cream (with sodium borate)
10% Sulfur Ointment
Virgin Coconut Oil
Unkers Salve (menthol and eucalyptus)
FaceDoctor Soap
Olive Leaf (internally)
* I also take magnesium in the form of
Epsom Salt Baths and in an oral supplement, and Acidophilus twice daily. I eat 2 to 3 tablespoons of fermented cabbage per day, for additional good bacteria in my gut. I drink lots of water with fresh lemon, and also ACV (a couple of tablespoons in my water throughout the day). I drink no soft drinks, and one cup of coffee in thr morning. Aside from that, I eat pretty average, healthy-wise. I don't eat a lot of meat. Never have.
I began this regimen a month ago (aside from the supplements, which I've been doing for months). I believe that the mites cleared up quickly because I have a strong immune system since quitting smoking 7 months ago.
Any input is appreciated. I'm just more curious than anything.
