If one capsule contains 1 gram of oil, how many capsules do you need ?
I decided to test the weight of oilve oil, before jumping on conclusion.

Empty container ... scale is showing 0 grams
125 ml of water inside container ... scale is showing 124 grams (this scale can not show digit 5, it rounds grams to nearest even number).
This test has shown that my scale is acurate enough. 125 ml of water are theoretically 125 grams.
My ability to measure ml or grams is +2/-2

Pouring oil and measuring waight. 100 ml of olive oil = 86 grams
125 ml of oilve oil = 110 grams

I poured 1/2 cup (125 ml) of Extra Virgine Olive Oil into a container of an electronic kitchen scale. Container was showing 0 before pouring oil.
After I poured the oil, I read weight: 110 grams.
1/2 cup = 110 grams
If one capsule contains 1 gram of oil, how many capsules do you need, if your goal is to ingest 110 grams of olive oil?
The answer is: 110 capsules.
Now, if your oil is a bit lighter (by weight) then the oil I was using, 1/2 cup of your oil may be 100 grams by weight ... but that is still 100 capsules.
Call the salesmen back and tell him that 15 capsules equals 1 tablespoon.
