Try to empty 15 capsules into a glass, and see how much oil do you get?

1 gram of oil is approx =~ 1.25 ml of oil ( ml = milliliter )


How many capsules do you need to get 1/2 cup (125 ml ) of olive oil?

125 / 1.25 = 100 capsules

If it is true that each capsule contain only 1 gram of oil, then You need approximately 100 capsules!

My personal preferences: I would rather swallow 1/2 cup of oil mixed with 1/2 cup of juice, then to try to swallow 100 capsules. I understand that some pople would rather not swallow the oil.

Different oils have different Specific Gravity.

Approx 1 kg of olive oil =~ 1.2 liter =~ 1.2 (cubic decimeter)
Approx 1 g of olive oil =~ 1.2 milliliter =~ 1.2 (cubic millimeter)




Cups to tablespoons:
1 teaspoon = 5 ml
1 tablespoon = 15 ml
1/2 cup = 125 ml = 8.3 tablespoons (125/15 = 8.3)



You need 8.3 tablespoons of olive oil
