No You only Need 28!!!!

I emailed the manufacturer and that is what they said because they are 1000 mg capsules and are concentrated. Perhaps the puritanspride brand you will need double as they are 500 mg.

Here is the email:

"Our capsules contain 1000 mgs of olive oil. Thats a measure of weight not volume. A half cup is a volume measure. I'd say about 28 capsules is the equivalent."
