Re: Totally Bizarre, even after getting letters from people I used to work with describing the odour, my doctor still won't take it seriously. WHY?

My doctor has done some tests like blood work but they've come out fine. The only thing that really bothers me is he refuses to acknwoledge it even after I showed him the letters describing the odour. It's like everytime I get a job or during social situations where I feel stressed or anxious the odour is such a big issue and I'm treated horribly because of it, but when I try to get medical help for it no doctor is willing to take it seriously. I feel like I'm losing my sanity and it's hard for me to even get out of bed somedays but still no doctor is willing to try to help.

I've used alcohol and drugs to try to cope with this but I really don't want to go down that road again. I don't understand why no one is willing to help when I have a legitimate medical problem that's basically destroyed my life. I know everyone here can understand but it's had such a negative effect on my psyche. I haven't even had the courage to try looking for a job in so many months and I've isolated myself from the rest of the world because some of the past experiences I've had have been so soul destroying.
