It was officially and publicly said in media we should drink lugol prophylactically. Lugol at that time was available freely everywhere. As I said ones socialistic Poland was better to live in sometimes then in democratic one right now. You cannot buy lugol today anywhere. Not sure if this is the case in all EU countries but I tried in Italy, Spain and Portugal with no lack. Seems like "medical substances" control
is much higher then in US.
BTW we should worry but not like this, rather globally - nuclear power plants should not be built at all because
we will soon be sitting on one giant dynamite. Radiation
in environment stays for thousands of years so imagine what can happen if we have more disasters like that.
Idiots in Poland wants to build nuclear power Plant at the Baltic Sea despite of majority of people don't want. Germans are already afraid....and they should be.
