Re: Kidney Failure, Chronic Nephritis, Dialysis Research update...
That looks promising. I will start using flax seed oil. I used to take it, but didn't know my kidneys liked it. I am always willing to try new things. I may even order some
Essiac tea and see what that could do. Never know. I don't know about the cottage cheese though. It's a dairy food and I stay away from dairy. My kidneys function better without meat (except fish with fins and scales) and no dairy products. I am able to eat egg occassionally though. Most meat is also very hard on the system.
Keep in mind, the kidneys at this stage are in a very delicate way. So, treat them kindly right now. As they strengthen they can handle more types of foods, but you have to experiment. The main thing is DON'T PANIC. Just notice what's happening, record things, so you can look back at things, and simply keep moving forward. If you have a TEMPORARY setback, again DON'T PANIC, just wait for your body to recooperate from it and keep going. Record that food, and don't eat it anymore. Simple. You will learn what foods make your kidneys worse and what does not.
One thing, the link I gave about the 3 mushrooms I've using, Cordyceps, Mucuna, and Astragalus, I'm adding to that. I'm also going to start taking Reishi. Organic of course. Remarkable things I've read about with that mushroom! We'll see if I notice anything from that.
One thing I've noticed, my kidneys no longer hurt after I eat or drink something. That's a good thing. My uring output has increased and become more "normal". Anther improvement. What I see happening is a reversal step by step of what went wrong with them in the first place. It's interesting.
I hope this information truly helps you get better!
God bless you.
