Kidney Failure, Chronic Nephritis, Dialysis Research update...
This is an update on what I have been doing with myself to ascertain if kidney disease is in fact reversible, instead of what the AMA claims.
After doing extensive research, the things I am doing every day are as follows.
1. Eat at least 2 cups of curly leaf parsley a day. (this has made my blood pressure drop considerably and stopped the need of EPO. It is enormously high in vitamin C and iron, the building blocks of health blood iron and the elimination of anemia)
2. Eat the mucusless diet as set forth by Dr. John R. Christopher. Here's a website that has the explanation of it.

Try to follow it as much as is possible. Remember, these are guidelines, so please listen to your body and you'll know if you should or shouldn't eat something. At first I stayed strictly vegan, but as I knew my kidneys were getting better, I've introduced fish (those with fins AND scales ONLY) once a week. (that means nothing like catfish, since it has no scales, no shrimp, lobster, pork, beef, etc.)
3. This is the most important that has improved my overall health (including kidney function). Make sure to take these 3 mushrooms. I use this website to order mine. They are top notch quality and I have had the best success with these.

Take the Cordyceps, it's the most important. 1 teaspoon morning and night. (that's twice daily)
I also take the Mucuna (same dosage)
I also take the Astragalus (same dosage)
I noticed effects the very next day! After 2 weeks of doing this, here's things I've noticed:
1. Stronger urination.
2. More volume urination.
3. More frequent urination.
4. Lower blood pressures.
5. MUCH higher energy levels.
6. Beginning to feel an overall "peaceful" feeling in my body.
7. Needing to use more yellow bags (peritoneal dialysis users will understand this) then greens. I don't need to pull hardly any water at all off of me anymore. Watching that closely.
8. My potassium in my blood tests have been coming back normal, even though I no longer watch what I eat. (WATCH THIS CLOSELY, AND DON'T PLAY WITH THIS. DO THIS SLOWLY!!! WATCH YOUR BLOOD WORK LIKE A HAWK, YOU'LL KNOW.)
9. I haven't needed a calcium binder in about a week. (again, WATCH YOUR BLOOD WORK, YOU'LL KNOW. DON'T WANT ANY BRITTLE BONES.)
10. Been having more peaceful nights sleeping. Rest is VERY important to healing!!!
11. Been able to increase my work out daily on an elliptical that my wife and I bought. EXERCISE IS VITAL!!! Do some form of exercise daily. Even if you just walk. Do something. As you progress with this therapy, you'll find your energy will increase and it will get easier. Then you'll WANT to exercise more!
Please keep in mind, you're results may take longer. It depends upon the severity of your kidney disease! If you are looking at the prospect of possibly getting on dialysis sometime in the future, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TRYING THIS NOW. It may improve your kidneys and keep you from ever needing dialysis. I wish I had know this information when my creatinine was at 5.0 instead of 8.0! I'd be a lot further along now!
Remember, the key to natural therapy like this is perseverance. Stay with it. Don't give up, if you don't see results as fast as you'd like. I tend to be impatient and this is building that in me. So, learn patience and it will come to you. Watch daily the signs of your kidney disease. Check the swelling of your legs several times a day to see how they react if you drink more fluids one day. Watch under your eyes to see if the swelling is starting to go away. (not the bags under your eyes, kidney swelling. The swelling above the eyes is indicative of a bad liver.)
Watch your energy level, your blood pressure, how fast you heal (my healing of small scrapes and such is twice as fast now!) How well you sleep at night, how much more your dialysis is causing cramping using the same color bags. Showing you don't need to pull as much water. All small improvements, but over time things change. Stay the course you'll be glad you did.
Also, don't do what I did and fight with your nephrologist. I have had to realize, they are brainwashed by the established medical industry into a way of thinking. So you have to simply do that which makes you better until they have to no longer keep you on dialysis. The system wants you to stay on dialysis or get a transplant to keep you in the system for the rest of your life. Natural medicine heals you and frees you from the system.
I truly hope this helps someone.
