I don't cut it in half. I just cut the tip off and squeeze half of it out into water and then let it dissolve in the water. What's left in the gelcap will be fine for at least a couple of days, but I haven't taken any that was open for longer than that.
When I say stimulating that usually means anxiety for me. It might make you feel jittery, heart palps, or nervous in your stomach.
Does checking your blood pressure and blood Sugar so often make you feel worse by creating some stress? I know it would me. What about resting and just breathing and practicing being present with your body for a little while? Just an idea.
