Re: EFT- Good for you!
Definitely try it for all physical and mental/emotional issues! For instance, examples of set-up phrases for physical things: say out loud or to yourself while tapping on the "karate-chop" point (outside edge of hand)and concentrating on the pain or problem:
"Even though I have this awful indigestion, I deeply and completely accept myself."
"Even though my head hurts so bad that I feel like crying, I deeply and completely accept myself."
"Even though my ankle is really aching, I deeply and completely accept myself."
"Even though I feel like I am going to vomit...."
After repeating the set-up about three times, then tap on all of the points repeating parts of the set-up phrases. Sometimes once through may not be enough or the pain may change a bit or move. So just do it again, changing the words as needed and putting your focus on the new aspect. For instance:
"Even though my head hurts so bad..." could change to "Even though it feels like there is a tight band around my forehead..... which might change for a third round to " Even though I have this remaining throbbing behind my eyebrows..."
When you begin a session, try to give your pain or your emotional distress a number between 1 and 10 according to how severe it is. "This headache is a 9." This will help you to see what progress you have made. "Now it feels like a 5."
You can do this as much and as often as you need to. It does take some energy -just do one round at a time, then rest and do another. Other people can even do it on you too.
Blessings and good thoughts
