Re: Inflammation Reduction On The Program

I can never tell anyone what to eat. Here is what I have and I change around a lot to get different nutrients from different produce.

an orange or some finely sliced apple

Scrambled eggs and I put some Wheat Germ oil in them or add some Hemp Oil or flaxseed oil. They I put some dulse over the top. Doesn't sound very appetizing, does it? I scramble them in some coconut oil or butter. Eggs are good protein.

I might have a bowl of oat bran and brown rice cereal and add some regular oat meal to it.

a slice of either sprouted grain Ezekial bread or rye bread with some nut butter

Lunch. I make soup in my Vita Mix. Take any kind of veggie and put in there and mix it to make soup. Veggies are of all different colors. Choose different colors. I also add nuts to it sometimes. Then, if you want, add a tsp of arrowroot powder to it to thicken it on the stove top for just a few minutes.

You can make a chicken salad or turkey salad sandwich. Use the Rye bread. I try to stay away from fish as it's got mercury in it, but once and a while I have a tuna salad sandwich. The health food store has books about making your own mayonnaise. The regular mayo has high fructose corn syrup, but if you don't cook much, maybe it's time you experiemnted! Lol!

A cup of peppermint or other herbal tea goes well with this

dinner can be a fruit salad with cottage cheese, and fruit. You can put some ground up flaxseed oil in it, too, if you want. I don't usually, because I do the oil. Fruits settle well at night. A fresh pear, applesauce you can make yourself, or a banana. Add mixed fruit to yogurt, too, that you get from the health food store from some place that makes yogurt locally. A piece of toast or corn bread or something like that added. Non GMO corn. Make your own cornbread.

Once in a while an Idaho baked potato, a green smoothie that has nuts in it, too, and maybe a small portion of beans and rice or a small piece of meat. It's not good to mix meat and potato, tho.

Make yourself a side salad and use home made salad dressing out of Bragg's cider vinegar or lemon juice and some EVOO and put some kind of herbs you like in it like dill. Make your best protein meal in the morning, less at noon, and eat lightly at night.

Use your imagination and get a cookbook at the health food store.

Get all your products w/o pesticides, antibiotics or hormones.
