Etienne,
I believe in the T cell tolerance theory but the immune system alone can not eliminate a fungal infection one time it happens. Why healthy people need Antibiotics when they get any kind of bacterial infection ?? This demostrates that the immune system needs help to eradicate an infection. An intestinal overgrowth is an infection because candida changed to an invasive state after the conditions were created. The day we have something fungicidal that destroys this fungal form in the gut our immune tolerance will recover and the fungus will be story. Turpentine is a powerful poison that probably kills candida in seconds. Becareful with it. It also can kill you.
