"Hot" women? ROTFLMAOTMNR!

I just stumbled upon this long-ago post and was irresistibly compelled to respond. After laughing myself silly, of course.

First of all, the "hot" men are being divorced, too! It's not as if the women are just being dumped.

Marriages fail for a multitude of reasons, but the main cause of divorce is marrying for the WRONG reasons, such as entering into a legally binding contract of marriage on the basis of a partner being "hot," or engaging in rabid sex as a foundation of a healthy relationship. Sure, sex is a wonderful byproduct of love, but it cannot be the basis of a relationship.

Our current cultural and social climate is producing its third generation that is so self-absorbed and narcissistic that healthy relationships are the exception. Domestic violence and spousal murder rates are at epidemic proportions. Advertising and marketing dictates the value of a person based upon their appearance, rather than their intellectual and ethical attributes. Aging gracefully is not tolerated in modern society, and common sense has taken a back seat in deference of willful stupidity, excuses, and labels. We have become an overindulgent culture based upon the false hope of immortality.

Brothels that are State supervised might not be a bad idea. Men could pay someone to submit to acts that dehumanize their wives, or acts that their wives find distasteful.

Either way, "bad sex" with "hot" wives is not the root cause of divorce, today. Tweet
