Re: For healthyartist --Re: Uny- my gums, will you take a look?

Unyquity,

I'm honored and delighted that you noticed me here, that my postings brought on a "heart smile", and that you have taken the time to thoroughly respond to my question. I spent 4 hours yesterday reading the articles (talk about thorough! :) ) and I'm only half way through! Thank you.

Well, suffice it to say that Dr Lam was walking me to my death bed with his vitamin c megadosing, no question. I worked with him for 7 months and my gums did worsen during that time, along with many other aspects of my health, which I had attributed to the adrenal fatigue. And yes, prior to working with them my gums bled a little when I flossed, but nothing like this. I also think it's likely that the c megadosing gave me a b12 deficiency.

Anyhow, as of the last month or two I've been taking 1,000mg of amla and 1,000mg of Dr Lams Quantum. My plan was to stop the Quantim all together and replace it with camu camu and the amla, but I did it for one day and felt more fatigue and this aching sensitivity behind my eyes. I don't think that I gave it enough of a chance and it could have been a coincidence though. In a couple of days I will try again, because I had also questioned whether or not the ascorbic acid was causing the issue. It is very clear that megadosing of c and the vitamin drip with c that I tried a few months ago made them worse.

As for my other supplements, I've been concerned that the isolated b vitamins are an issue but I'm not sure what else to do. For now, it seems like they are necessary. Do you have any articles that discuss the dangers of isolated b vitamins?

And then as far as juicing goes, boy would I love to juice. The last few times that I tried they gave me a blood Sugar crash. Maybe I could handle smaller quantities. But at this point, I don't tollerate raw veggies at all anymore, so I'm not sure about raw veggie juice. I never thought I'd be jealous of my mom getting to eat a salad. :(

As for tinctures, do they have alcohol in them? Are they gluten free?

I often feel very backed into a corner in regards to my options, but I hope/pray that doing things carefully, one little step at a time, will bring me out of this. I'm so grateful for Curezone in that it is an amazing sounding board for researching options.

Lastly, I did two coffee enemas, the first was at a quarter of the recommended strength of the SA Wilsons coffee and I didn't notice anything. I only used two cups and held it for about 10 mins. For the second one I used half of the recommended strength and did two two cup enemas back to back for ten minutes each. I felt wiped out immediately afterwards for about two hours. Then my energy came back. That night I was kept awake with extreme body and head pains for a few hours and then fell asleep. For the next two days I was low energy and depressed. Also, during this time my gums felt more inflammed and I started having shooting pains in my teeth.

My thought is that I didn't evacuate the bile fast enough and reabsorbed the toxins back into my blood stream. I take 12 triphalla a day in order to have bowel movements but the way it's currently timed I have one around 7am and another around 12pm. So, I had done the coffee enema around 3pm and didn't evacuate until about 7 or 8am the next day, lots of time for toxins to resettle. To be honest, I don't feel like I'm up for trying it again for now. Maybe I will get brave again in the future, but anything that makes my symptoms worse seems like a no go.

In the beginning of getting sick I thought I was detoxing and so I kept doing what I was doing and kept getting sicker and sicker. It's one of the great confusing complexities of the body that makes it difficult to tell the difference between healing reactions and getting sicker.

Anyways, I've spent some time looking around your forum and have noticed the general joy and positive attitudes of the people here, which I think says good things about what you're doing. I'm honored to be a part of it. Thank you!

With love,
Beth
