Hi chrisb1, thank you for the reply, but it doesn't sound very convincing to me. So you're suggesting that fasting only heals diseases that are caused by faulty biochemistry... and that the development and symptoms of PTSD are not rooted in biochemistry. Why? Has fasting really never been shown to help diseases of impaired energy, emotions, spirit, or anything else not strictly biochemical? And obviously the intial cause of PTSD is negative emotions in response to traumatic events, but somewhere along the path from the initial cause --> to the symptoms, there's probably some important biochemistry in the brain that permanently gets altered, and could use fixing.
