Re: Anyone heard of fasting curing post-traumatic stress (PTSD)?

Thank you so much! I am tremendously grateful to hear a real success testimony from you, instead of just a hopeful theory. It's motivating to know that my brain does have the ability to heal these scars if I can just pull myself through this one last stretch of withdrawal from food.

It's really disheartening that the mind (of both humans and animals) is so weak that emotional wounds (especially when suffered at a young age) don't heal over time. I'm still tormented by constant intrusive flashbacks and murderous hatred years after separating myself from those who have exploited and tortured me. My energy levels and initiative to work are very low from the stress, and I've become dependant on sugary junk food to keep myself sane.

Thanks for the suggestions. My emotional foundation is very weak right now so instead of a test of my character, I think it will be a test of my desperateness. I've been researching meditation and Chinese energy exercises and I'm hoping they'll make things easier and speed the progress.

By the way, could you please describe what your "rebirth" was like, if it's not too personal? Enlightenment? Introspection? Visions? Personality change?
