His post may be true, but only for a purist. I see NO problem with taking light pain medication when needed, some form or other of acid reflux treatment, or supplements when the body is displaying clear signs of deficiency.
You're still not eating or adding things to your water, so why would we not still call this a 'water fast'? Modern medicine is not to be shunned or hated -- don't turn away those who want to "water fast" by including pharisaical rules that may even be harmful to some.
