Thanks for responding to my post.Telman,sorry if I'm off topic but I just wanted to analyse my situation in terms of the LFs as they did seem to be helping initially.
To answer some of the questions..NO I'm not overweight and I work out diligently 4-5 times a week for app.one hour each time.I do not smoke nor drink alcohol(but maybe I should start some wine drinking).I do include a lot of good fats in my diet eg.olive oil,avocados,flaxseeds,sunflowerseeds,nuts etc.and tons of fibers.I do not take fish and flax oil supplements though, and now I will.
Telman,I have never heard of pectin supplement to lower LDL so could you elaborate please.I am now willing to try anything except for the meds.So you see I do not think that I have any other risk factors.I have made an appointment to see a cardiologist and I will ask him to check out my C-Reactive Protein and do the Homocystine test.Thanks once again for all the helpful advice and Good health to all
