I stopped my Lipitor 15 months ago, my doctor did not even get angry. if he had I would have left.
I am sure my cholesterol might still be high, actually it was off the charts more than a year ago, because you should not have a bloodtest after flushing, what I did, it throws off all tests.
Andreas Moritz told me that when you get older it is better to have a little more cholesterol. All the info is in his book, but if you don't have it, you can read his website http://www.ener-chi.com under healthinfo and High Cholesterol.
I have heard that a lot of people stopped taken them because it effected their muscles. It is also not good for the liver.
