My first Liver Flush was one my doctor used. It involved fasting on nothing but raw apples and apple juice for a week to ten days. Every morning and night we were to take 1/3 cup of olive oil "shaken not stirred" into the apple juice. Two thirds of a cup of oil is a lot of fat. Still, I lost thirteen pounds in that week I did the flush. Obviously my body was assimilating the oil in some way that did not involve gluing it to my hips and belly where most fat seems to accumulate. I passed a lot of stones with that flush, but find the Hulda Clark flush so much quicker and easier and every bit as effective.
