Re: Need quick relief
That feeling of having anxiety all over, and feeling like your arm is detached, that sure sounds like a panic attack to me. They can be absolutely terrifying, and manifest with many physical symptoms like chest pains, tingling, shortness of breath, feelings of disconnection from reality, and a general feeling that you are going to die imminently. Like you, alot of sufferers go to the ER when they experience panic attacks because they're sure they're going to die. You need to realize that it's a warped perception, and not reality, brought about by the panic state.
Do you balance your magnesium with calcium? I try to keep a 1:1 ratio (or slightly more calcium), it seems best for my anxiety in the long term. You say you ate alot of cashews. Cashews are high in magnesium (82mg of mag for every ounce of nuts) and have almost no calcium. That could be contributing to a cal/mag imbalance if you dont eat high calcium foods or supps.
I'm not familiar with your situation other than this post. If you have candida, severe anxiety attacks are very common with candidiasis. The gut-brain connection is really strong, and if your colon is not healthy, its a guarantee that your brain is suffering as well.
Just try to stay relaxed and tell yourself you're ok, and that it will pass.
Panic attacks usually last about 20 mins, and can recur quite frequently. Especially during periods where you allow the fear to run unchecked, and believe that you are dying. I know you probably dont believe it right now, but try to tell yourself that youre going to be ok. Then try to find someone to talk to about it, and distract yourself from what youre feeling.
