I avoided spicy foods garlic and onions for a long long time while I was detoxing. I added them back in again because the diet is so extreme, you need something to make the food taste good. I don't care if I go around smelling like onions & garlic or spices...100x better than feces, you know?
I try to stay low choline so I don't have the first three often:
cabbage, brocolli,cauliflower, peanuts, tofu, legumes and all the other yummy high choline stuff?
THe last ones I avoid totally. I use egg whites for protein mostly (not vegan but where would I get protein from, I work out A LOT) and only cheat with beans when I have 3 days to myself to detox from them.

And yes, during the holidays I went off the diet and PAID for it big time. I am detoxing again now. Proof again what works for me.
