P.S.- They say that YES, periods of dehydration (dry fasting) are beneficial. It allows the body to increase the rate at which it is performing the work that is being done during a fast.
I could be wrong, but I don't think dehydration equals dry fasting. I do agree that dry fasting can be beneficial if done right. I thought that if the body is able to dry fast, the body breaks down to supply the liquid needed so that dehydration does not set in. You would not want to go past the mild dehydration stage. You may not want to even go that far.
