Re: Magnesium Citrate protocol

"I followed the protocol just as it was written in my post above. I took the OO/GF at 10pm, laid down for about 30 minutes. ... took the Mg Citrate at about 10:45pm. ... No other doses of Mg Citrate or OO (Olive-Oil) the next day. ..."

I can see why that might seem slightly strange to some people (including me!). My understanding is that the magnesium citrate has 2 functions:
1) To make the gut contents move more freely, and
2) To dilate the bile ducts.

The OO/GF makes the gall bladder contract, so wouldn't it be helpful to have the ducts already dilated when the OO/GF takes effect? Yet in this protocol the magnesium citrate is taken ** after ** the OO/GF. Common sense might suggest that the magnesium citrate should be taken before the OO/GF.

Comments anyone?

regards,

Marc
