Re: Refeeding Syndrome (edited)

Hi MC,

Yes to this!

But it is difficult to convey that message to people. We all need just to experience it.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`
That's why I keep talking up these old gems of fasting literature in The Soil and Health Library, esp. when I see new people on the board. They are free, convey a lot of the 'message', ( and dispel the myths), and if one is able, a small donation can be made to support all the work that made them freely available.
And this is key, as well!
I believe the body starts its healing during the fasting, to be continued later, at an slower tempo, during the refeeding.
Very important point. Maybe "rebuilding" conveys more of the full nature of the process. Yet that too might be taken as suggestive that the body is broken down by fasting--And could scare people away. It's a very individual process...as you say.
