Re: Refeeding Syndrome

The rule I learned and I follow is the following:
I have a day of liquids only for every 4 days of Water Fasting As an example: a Water Fast of 28 days will cause me to drink things like orange juice, vegetable broth, etc. during 7 days.
After this I start the solids or raw fruits and vegetables (Steamed vegetables are OK) for the rest of the refeeding time.

The refeeding time has the purpose to replenish minerals in the body. It needs to be of equal length ... 10 days of water fasting, 10 days of refeeding... To play it safe, it is better to devote 150% of the time to the refeeding period.

20 days of fasting= 30 days of refeeding

10 days of fasting= 20 days of refeeding.

I am very particular at it since my goal is to fast until I get rid of my past toxemia.

I have had 3 extended fasting periods so far.
